AHSAA Host Team Guidelines

In the first round of the playoffs, the 1- and 2-seeds host the 4- and 3-seeds, respectively.
In each matchup in the following rounds, the host team is the team that traveled the most times in the previous rounds.
If travel is equal, then the highest seed (regardless of region) is the host team.
If seeding and travel is the same, then the team in the top of the bracket is the host.
If two teams from the same region meet after the first round, region standings trump all, and the higher seed hosts the lower seed.
